To get a more solid foundation in Javascript and a chance to play with art + code combined, decided to embark on a collection of 100 toy projects. I intended for the projects to be completed in CodePen- which favors a smaller workspace- in order to bypass the start up cost of creating web compatible base project files and hosting, and so aimed for square scalable designs that could be read at a distance.
Also spent some time to configure codepen iframe embedding; click on the project previews to get the respective pen (although I haven't actually implemented anything yet 😂)!
As I wanted to maintain consistency across the collection and a conceptual
wireframe to guide implementation in order to aim for a general timeline
of 1 project a day, I started with the designs.
Game controls are consistent across all pens unless noted otherwise:
- P-Pause
- R-Restart
- Arrow Keys
